I am an aspiring Architect and Urban Designer fascinated by public space and the built environment around us.
I made it my mission to have a strong diversity in academic and professional experiences. By 2017, I graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Masters in both Architecture and Planning, and had various internship experiences in general contracting, urban design, development and architecture firms. These opportunities have played an important role in shaping the designer I am today. Find my resume here if you want to know more.
As an agent of the built environment, my deep interests in the design of space and the life it influences has driven my pursuit to nurture sustainable and happy cities. My background in architecture and planning has taught me the importance of perspective at multiple scales, and the skillsets to find contextually sensitive solutions to complex challenges. In both my academic and professional life, I am consistently praised as reliable, and hard working by my professors and supervisors. My most recent employment at Montante Development resulted from winning a design competition. With heavy emphasis on collaborative effort, my team consistently delivered on aggressive deadlines for weekly design meetings with the executive team. My main roles were schematic designs and visualizations for several buildings and public spaces on site. You can find the competition proposal here and the professional work here.
During this time, I was also employed as an urban designer intern with UB Regional Institute to create a Master Plan for the 1,800 acre NYS Brownfield Redevelopment along the Niagara River. The designs were revealed to the community with resounding support - you can find the work here and the news segment here. I managed to multitask between both opportunities and 18 credits at school while maintaining high quality of work.
I have an obsession with technology and Arch-Viz. I am currently experimenting with taking architectural visualization into virtual reality through gaming engines. I am doing this through my Oculus Rift and Unreal Engine.
Aside from geeking out over tech, I also love cutting hair! As a hobby that turned into a side business, I get to meet new people and have my clientele looking beautiful and confident.
